Not sure how many Boise Curlers saw this, but it seems to be a pretty awesome way to raise funds for a dedicated Curling Facility (it was on the back page of Curling News). Evergreen Curling Club (in Portland, OR) is raising funds for a dedicated facility. One creative way they’re doing this is by raffling off an all inclusive trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Curling Season is upon us and registration is now open!!! E-mail info@boisecurlingclub.org to register. This should be an exciting season with a new fifth sheet complete with recently delivered rocks, brand new vinyl scoreboards and a new ice field installed by Ice World this summer!! Spots are limited and it’s first-come, first-served so don’t hesitate to sign up. Once we have a final count of participants, we’ll finalize the ice fees and send a link for your payment. We are accepting Paypal and credit card in addition to check this year. To make a payment, click on House League > Online Payment. Here are the particulars:

-Season will begin on Sunday October 16, 7-9PM.

-The 2011-12 Membership fee is still $75 and gets you membership in the USCA/MOPAC, subscription to the USCA magazine “Curling News”, and on ice insurance coverage among other benefits. You must be a member to curl in any of our leagues over the next year.

-Ice Fee is estimated to be approximately $140 for each session (due October & January). As always, you can curl in the Fall, Spring or both, subject to availability.
