Spring League registration is closed. Waiting list is available.
Registration for the Spring League is open. Due to the ice replacement on our sheet, and the tremendous demand for Learn to Curls and Beginner Leagues that has been generated by our US Olympic team’s gold medal(!), we will be playing a short league beginning April 8 and ending May 20. We will not curl on Mother’s Day, May 13th, so it will be a six week league. We will play on the main rink while the ice is being replaced, which will mean drawing houses with markers like we did when we curled at Century Link. Because of the extra time this will take, Ice World has comped us an extra 15 minutes of setup time, so our ice time will be 5:30-7:45 while on the main rink. We should be back on our regular rink by April 29, at which point we will be starting a beginner league that will take place from 5:30-7:30, and we will curl from 7:30-9:30 on April 29, May 6, and May 20.
In order to provide a quality curling experience, the board has voted to cap this league at 12 teams, which will allow us to play five games per team. The registration deadline has passed. To be placed on the waiting list, please click the link below. When room becomes available, you will be placed on a team and notified.

Teams and schedule posted for Beginner League

You could be an Olympian!*
Have you ever wanted to try curling? Are you watching the Olympics saying, "I could do that"? Here’s your chance!
The Boise Curling Club is offering Learn to Curl classes February 11, 18, 25, and March 4 from 5:00-6:30 pm and 6:00-7:30 pm at Idaho Ice World.
Learn to Curls feature 30 minutes of off-ice classroom instruction and one hour of on-ice curling. The 30 minute off-ice instructional session covers rules, etiquette, and proper curling technique for delivery and sweeping. Participants then go on the ice for an hour to apply what they learned by throwing a few practice stones and playing a short game. All curling equipment is provided. Participants should wear warm, loose fitting clothing. Athletic or sweat pants, clean rubber soled shoes (such as sneakers), and a light jacket or sweatshirt are recommended.
The cost is $20 for an adult and $10 for a child under the age of 18. Visit the Learn to Curl page to register.
Learn to Curl Membership Fee Discount: The amount you pay for your Learn to Curl class can be used as a credit toward paying your annual membership fee - i.e., you can deduct $10 or $20 from your initial club membership.
*The Boise Curling Club does not guarantee that you will make the Olympics if you attend our Learn to Curl. Olympians put in thousands of hours training for their sport, and curling is no different. It may look easy because there are slightly paunchy middle-aged men out there succeeding, but don't be fooled, they practice curling more than most of us do anything in our lives. However, even though you probably won't make the Olympics, we can guarantee that if you start curling, you will meet great people and have a good time.
